Your Burlesque debut awaits! Over 9 weeks, gain confidence, embody your alter ego, and perform live at Esher Theatre 25th July with your very own troupe.
All our rehearsals will take places at Lifestyle Fitness, Matthew Arnold, Staines-Upon-Thames, Surrey TW18 1PF
This 9-week journey is all about self-expression, confidence, and creative power, finishing with a glamorous troupe performance at a professional theatre. Guided by multi award-winning burlesque artist Petit Pois, you’ll explore:
-The history and playful rebellion of burlesque
-Striptease as storytelling, choice, and confidence
-Classic props: gloves, stockings, optional tassels
-Developing your burlesque alter ego
-Building stage presence, movement confidence, and performance skills
-Collaborating to create a bold, cohesive troupe number

-Open Level / Beginner Friendly | Ages 18–100
-No dance experience required
-Inclusive of all bodies, identities, and confidence levels
What to Wear
-Comfortable clothing to move freely
-Heels optional; flats or barefoot welcome
-Costume elements introduced gently; consent and comfort always central
