We are the authentic and boundary-pushing duo behind Cabaret Provocateur and Surrey Burlesque School. Dedicated to liberating the heart of London's underground cabaret scene and unleashing it on your doorstep.
Having spent over a decade headlining international stages, from the neon-lit clubs of New Orleans to the bright lights of London’s West End. Danny left a medical career to run away with the circus, while Petit Pois rose from a student at The Cheek of It! to become a renowned burlesque performer and drag king. We've become established names in the industry and are now living our dream of bringing cabaret to the suburbs!
Our shows are an invitation to escape your day to day and be inspired. Who knows, the next amazing cabaret artist could be in our audience! So, whether you are here to witness the crème de la crème of London, or to find your own sparkle in our studio. We provide an elevated experience for those who crave more than the ordinary. A cabaret provocateur show is a celebration of the extraordinary, reimaging it for a modern audience. We Honour the provocative truth of the 1920's underground scene of Berlin, while indulging in the glamour that Dita Von Teese has made world-famous.
The artists we choose will transfix you with their beauty, have you howling with laughter, and leave you gasping in shock. From spellbinding vocals to boundary-pushing variety and circus, we bring the extravagance of the city to local stages across the UK.
Expect an interactive evening where there are no "safe" seats. Discover a love for Drag Kings & Queens, Burlesque and Boylesque, Circus and Variety! You’ll be guided by the co-founder and producer of Cabaret Provocateur, our very own Petit Pois. She is a multi-award-winning burlesque performer who has over 10 years of experience performing and teaching.
In that time she has seen first-hand the powerful transformation burlesque can create - people arriving nervous or unsure and leaving more confident, playful, and empowered. You don’t need dance or performance experience - just curiosity and a willingness to give it a try.
Our school is a space where confidence, creativity, and playfulness come together. We believe that burlesque is far more than feathers and glamour. At its heart, it is about choice, storytelling, and owning your presence.
We invite you to take up space, explore your character, and celebrate your body exactly as it is.

Burlesque Troupe Course with Debut Perfomance
Our flagship 9-week Burlesque Course is designed to take you on a transformative journey from the studio to the spotlight.
You will be mentored by industry professionals who live and breathe the craft. Includeing world-class artist Fou Fou Kaboom, who leads a specialist workshop on performance energy and "facial fuckery". Together we'll help you build unshakable body confidence whilst learning the art of the tease. The course culminates in a magical troupe act created by you, which you will debut at one of our Cabaret Provocateur shows!
There's still time to join our next course, which is starting on Tuesday 10th March.
